Outline:
I Al Capone was an Italian American immigrant made ganster who helped operate organzied crime in Chicago. Capone had a talent of always avoiding jail although he ran a few illegal businesses such as bootlegging, prostitution, gambling and racketeering. Eventually Capone murdered his way to the top of Chicago's organized crime network making himself the most notorious ganster of the 1920's.
II Personal Information
  1. Born on January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn,NY.
  2. Al Capone was the fourth of nine children later in life he married Mary Coughlin together they had one child Albert Francis.
  3. No formal education afetr dropping out of elementary school while in the sixth grade.
  4. Organized crime leader, gambler, bootlegger also vebtured in prostitution and racketeering.
  5. Died on January 25,1947 in Palm Island,Florida.
III Accomplishments
  1. Al Capone did many things that made him a memorable person although they werent always positive things Capone turned himself into a mob boss who led the organized crime network at times Capone made $60 million a year soley from bootlegging.
  2. Capone made lots of contributions to society including the improvement with law enforcement since Al Capone was such a huge criminal the government fought back with the Federal Bureau of Investigation an idpendent force dedicated to to fight against organized crime.
IV Qualities that made the person interesting
  1. Qualities that made Al Capone worth reading about were very limited but a few included his business savy attitude and hid dedication which ultimatey helped him become the head of organized crime and altogether a wise and wealthy man.

January 17, 1899 : Al Capone was born in Brooklyn,NY.
1913: Al Capone was expelled from elemertary school.
1917:Al Capone becomes "scare face" from knife fight in The Harvard Inn.
December 30, 1918: Al Capone marries and irish girl named Mae Josephine Coughlin who gave him his first child that year name Albert Capone.
1920: Capone moves his family from New York to Chicago.
1925: After murdering two men in which he was never convicted of Capone meets mentor John Torrio.
Febuary 1925: Head of organized crime John Torrio retires putting Al Capone in charge of mob.
Febuary 14, 1929: Valentines Day Massacre most notorius killing which resulted in the death of six people after four members of Capone's mob armed with two shotguns and two machine guns.
October 18, 1931: Al Capone was convitcted of federal income tax invasion in which a federal court sent him to prison after failing to pay income tax for the years of 1925-1929 owing roughly $215,080 in tax.
April 9, 1932: The infamous film "Scarface" was released which chronicles Capones life as a ganster.
January 25, 1947: Al Capone dies apoplectic stroke
